Comprou os jogadores indianos Karthik Sharma e Prashant Veer por incríveis Rs. 14,2 milhões cada, e também garantiu os serviços dos versáteis Aman Khan e Matthew Short, conferindo profundidade e equilíbrio ao time.
O pentacampeão adicionou poder de fogo ao seu ritmo ao adicionar jogadores como os lançadores rápidos Kiwi Matt Henry e Zak Fowlkes.
